It seems like everything is finally back to normal in the Sinnoh Region. A year has passed since Team Galactic was defeated, and for most people, it's like the events of last year never even happened. With no further space-time disturbances and dimensional rifts, everyone seems happy to go back to their everyday lives. However, there are always rumors-the Sinnoh region is practically built on them-and everyone on the street has a story to tell. Team Galactic has mostly reformed into a philanthropic energy company; however, there are rumors that the team has splintered into the benevolent version that most people are now familiar with and an underground extremist group that is steadily gaining power to resume its attempt to find a limitless energy source and make the world their own. A foreign crime syndicate, Team Rocket, has moved in to take their place. Even Team Magma and Aqua are angling for a piece of the profits to be made in Sinnoh. There are new Pokemon and strange evolutions of the older, more familiar ones. But these are just rumors. The police have no evidence any new criminal organizations and the few pictures of these supposed new Pokemon have all been dismissed as hoaxes. However, that doesn't keep the whispers from passing from one ear to the next, and there are enough of those to make anyone wonder. But who has time to worry when there are Pokemon to train, natural disasters to fight and Pokemon to study? Everyone knows the Sinnoh region is filled with gossips, why would this be any different? Pokeology is a Panfandom Pokemon AU set in the Sinnoh Region of the Pokemon world that allows characters from almost any canon you can think of, as well as canon characters from all Pokemon games, manga, and the anime. Be a trainer, a coordinator, a breeder, a researcher, a ranger... or maybe your character would know a little more about the rumors of Team Rocket and Team Galactic than most, hm?

My 'feel-good status' has sort of been yoyoing a lot lately. Just been feeling sick and when I'm not feeling sick, I'm not feeling not-sick either.

A couple might know that I've been sort of canon-reviewing (and confusing myself in the process hahaha) and though I've had write-ups to post here, I'm just. Not happy enough with these tl;drs because it feels like something's missing, that something's not right, and that there's no semblance of coherency. I think maybe it's because, for the most part, I expect to gain something from my essays, but now when I essay on Joshua, I'm essentially reviewing the points that I already know well enough not to need a tl;dr and gaining nothing. Which, isn't right, because I know there are still new things I pick up every time I review, and still things I'm not quite doing right. I still need to do a proper canon review, since I've just been picking up things here and there while scripting/sick.

I look back on my old self in this life and can't help but think I've come a long way. I still have many, many flaws, but not as many as I used to. And some flaws, some cracks in my diamond have become less deep, perhaps. Many things shaped this change. My family situation and family, my friends, the people I meet but once or twice, my mum especially. I've had nothing but wonderful teachers, and I love you all for it.

Of course, teachers can do nothing, if the student is unwilling to learn.

The one newspaper article that I remember and forget with the wind possibly has had one of the greatest pieces of advice to understand and apply when it comes to self improvement. I can't remember the exact words now, but it went something along the lines of this:

WHAT CAN YOU DO TO HELP?

1. The most obvious thing to do is stay informed. Keep an eye on reliable sources on Twitter, refresh blogs and news sites that are covering the stories.


2. If you are on twitter, retweet information from reliable twitters, but REMOVE THE USERNAME if they are in Iran. People have died because of the lack of responsibility by fellow tweeters and the media in this front. They can be tracked down by the government of Iran.


3. Spread the information elsewhere. Repost this article or write your own on Facebook, Myspace, Tumblr, or anywhere else you can think of. If you write your own, make sure you are concise and accurate. Link to your sources for people to learn more.


4. Discretely change your location on Twitter to Tehran or Iran, and your time zone to GMT +3:30. Don't post to brag about how you did it, otherwise it was useless.


5. DO NOT auto-refresh and take down websites, even if you are asked. It slows down the internet for the rest of the people in Iran.


6. If you make a proxy DO NOT post it publically, otherwise it is useless. Send it in a direct message to a trusted source.


7. DO NOT spam the hash tag #IranElection with useless things to "confuse the government". This does not help at all.

Been trying out new things drawing wise before I have to trundle off for some study and RPtagging. They're pretty much a summation of the emotion in each chapter, I guess? I'm pretty much drawing them as I finish chapters xD

Hokay so I was picking through various posts in our beloved LJ webspace, and it seems there is a general consensus that in order to Sho well, you need to be a goddamned genius at maths and know how to perform mathmatical inductions at will.

This is possibly another point I will disagree with fandom on.

tl;dr - You don't need to know calculus to be able to play a good Sho, because he doesn't actually use calculus in canon ! (if anything, he uses more physics) And this may or may not be an attempt to convince Jess to app Sho so he can chase Joshua all over Sinnoh

The worst thing about being creatively inclined is trying not follow the creativity when I really should be doing something else ahhh ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.


In other news, I finished a picture and I am very pleased about it. However, you don't get to see it until I finish writing all 21 chapters of the story. /also happens to be drawing scenes from each chapter like a chapter title page sob why, self.

The greatest satisfaction in being a list-bitch chibi-mod of TST (putting aside internal flailing and a general 'ahhh I'm going to fuck up something' paranoia) is being able to give something back to the game. I've never been good at plotting things, so it feels good that I can help out in some other way \o/

Also, to those dear anons who appeared here, I want to say: Thank you ♥ And I hope I can continue to deliver, both ICly and OOCly.
