okay the number of DMW related dreams is getting a little ridiculous. I usually don't dream AT ALL, let alone dream on a particular topic three times in a row. Edit: FOUR times in a row.

1st one - I dreamt there was this tiny bit of Toto canon that I missed. I remember thinking, upon reading it, that it would be just enough to allow me to app him. Then I woke up )':

2nd one - I dreamt we had a Ganta in TST and was like omfg yesss (despite not recalling seeing an app in the modbox) a Ganta for Toto to play with !! And then I realised, wait a sec, I'm not playing Toto in TST yet. Then I realised, fuck, this is a dream. Then I woke up )':

4th one - I dreamt I woke up and checked Snoopy Cool's website, and saw Chapters 22 and 23 scanlated and uploaded. And was like GLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE even though Chapters 24 and 25 weren't translated yet. Then I woke up )': Then I checked the website, and there was no change )':

Also, PSA: Internet is being an incredible douche, and I am so ridiculously burnt out on Joshua it's not funny. I feel kind of bad to be inactive with him during Lunasa, especially since I want to be, but it feels unfun playing Joshua right now. Maybe it's because I feel like I've hit the peak of my playing ability for him, even though I know there's more things I can do to be better? Ehhh well, I hope not playing him for a week or two gets me out of this rut, because trolling people is still fun and that's something I can't do with Atsuro.

I don't feel like RPing because I feel like I need a canon review.

I don't feel like canon reviewing because I feel like I should be working on the TWEWY extra script.

Hokay so I was picking through various posts in our beloved LJ webspace, and it seems there is a general consensus that in order to Sho well, you need to be a goddamned genius at maths and know how to perform mathmatical inductions at will.

This is possibly another point I will disagree with fandom on.

tl;dr - You don't need to know calculus to be able to play a good Sho, because he doesn't actually use calculus in canon ! (if anything, he uses more physics) And this may or may not be an attempt to convince Jess to app Sho so he can chase Joshua all over Sinnoh

The greatest satisfaction in being a list-bitch chibi-mod of TST (putting aside internal flailing and a general 'ahhh I'm going to fuck up something' paranoia) is being able to give something back to the game. I've never been good at plotting things, so it feels good that I can help out in some other way \o/

I've got one log idea on top of a possible childhood log with Shinji? Pondering if it's a good idea to have even more logs to respond to or not right now, though :|||

Maybe after the first two mid-sem tests...

Okay so. This has bugged me for a while about group logs, but man whenever I do them, I always feel like I'm third wheeling someone. I guess this kind of arises from my tendency to fixate so I kind of find it hard to give all the characters involved in a group log equal attention. And half the time I just. don't know what to say to the other one? IDKKK I just feel kind of bad about it.

-( and while we're on the topic of RP, have something that's completely unrelated to RP, but the reason I'm talking about it is because of RP )

FIRST IMPRESSION OF PLUTOIX:

HOLY HELL I FEEL SLOW AT TAGGING. I mean. even more so than usual. orz.

You know, I didn't realise just how much I'd improved with Joshua until I finished my Pluto app for Joshua and looked at my TST app for him. Just looking at the personality section alone (even accounting for the parts that only really apply to canon!Joshua), you can see the huge difference in the quality of the content.

Seriously. Just. Look.

Edit 2: ALSO you RP-stalkers of mine. You may have noticed that Joshua's F-list is suddenly very full of non-TST things. I have a couple of f-list filters for you! If you want stuff from TST (and you really should be looking at saltybirds' f-list instead B| ), there's a TST Filter just for you. But you'll have to remind me to update it whenever someone new appears orz

I've got a PlutoIX Filter if you want to stalk that RP as well.

So um. I've never felt like I had to give crit to a characterisation where almost nothing (in my opinion. I'm sure there's somone out there who would beg to differ) was done right.


And it's kind of occurred to me that apparently there's this thing in the majority of LJ RP that if you're not actually in the RP, you can't give crit. No, no one has bitten my face off from me giving cit (mostly because I usually give crit for people in TST) but skimming threads through RP!S has given the impression there's this invisible rule about having to be in a game to give crit.

I don't the logic behind that at all.

While yes, sometimes not having context may make some characters' actions seem rather OOC, that doesn't necessarily mean crit from outside the game is false and unfounded. Doesn't really make sense to me for outside crit to get worked up over, when outside praise is perfectly okay.

That said. I have no idea how and where to start to give that crit. And how to do it tactfully and in a constructive manner. Which is probably a first.

So hahahah I finally managed to finish my 4th app to That One RP, and idk, I like hearing other peoples' app stories or how they write up their apps. Or their app woes XD But yeah, I love seeing works in progress, so I thought I'd share with you guys what Akihiko's app looked like in progress before I neatened it all up prettily like it is over here.

While I'm here, Akihiko mini-essay. What? It's a good way to warm up before I play him, and fnghhhhh still haven't been able to get around to replaying. Take with a grain of salt, because fuzzy memory is fuzzy, and I wasn't paying that much attention first playthrough. And I get the feeling this is more applicable to post-Caesar then pre-Caesar. Which is. The Akihiko I'll be playing FNGHHHHHH.
